| The Servant is the Prince - The Art of Service |
Jesus Christ is the perfect archtype example of a servant prince who self emptied himself to serve and sacrifice his life for men and God highly exalted him. Though he was a prince (the Prince of Peace, Messiah Prince ) He walked like a servant to serve. (The suffering servant of Isaiah 53)
The antitype is the now mutated prince of darkness, prince of the power of the air, Satan who was created as God's servant to serve a guardian angel and at one point served in that capacity he walked among the stones of fire Ezekiel 28.14 (walking as servant) until he thought of self-exalting himself to be prince (I will exalt my throne above the stars of God) Isaiah 1413 and sit as prince. (I sit on the throne of a god Ezekiel 28.2.
Self-exalting negating the service of God led to his fall.
Whilst a servant will not sit and eat until he has finished serving His master, he will be exalted and will sit down and eat as a prince
As we offer ourselves as servants in serving God, waiting upon God as God's waiters , let us not be weary in doing good for in due season we shall reap and be exalted.
Bishop Tudor Bismark in his book Increase of the Kingdom states that " The culture of the Kingdom is service"
Let us continue to serve in good works. The Prince is the servant
